Ronald F. B. Woynarski

Ron graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1974 and a law degree in 1977. He articled with the Crown Attorney's Office in Kitchener, was called to the bar in 1979 and lived and practiced in Cambridge. Ron’s practice included the areas of business and employment law, civil and family litigation, and wills and estate planning. He acted for a wide range of clients - private individuals, small businesses, publicly traded corporations, and family health teams.

With over 38 years of experience, Ron continues to provide mentorship, consulting and advisory services to Woynarski Szymura Kelly LLP.

Ron was a trustee of the Waterloo Region Law Association from 2007 until early 2017, and he held various positions including vice-president, president and past-president.

Ron has been actively involved with various organizations in the community such as the United Way of Cambridge and North Dumfries (including a term as president) and has been a director of the Community Foundation of Cambridge and North Dumfries, Cambridge Self Help Food Bank, Cambridge Employment Options, Canadian Mental Health Association and Kids Can Play. He is a past member of the Kinsmen Club of Galt, Cambridge North Rotary Club, Cambridge Sunrise Rotary Club (Past President and Assistant Area Governor), Canadian Society for the Advancement of Legal Technology, and Area Committee of Legal Aid. He was involved in library operations and sat on the Waterloo Region Consolidated Courthouse (WRCC) Committee.
